Commerce wrestling team finished third in the Vidalia Sweet Onion Classic under head coach Kendall Love last weekend. The only two teams that finished ahead of the Tigers were 5-A  North Gwinnett (second) and our across the river rival Jefferson (champions). Tiger wrestlers that lead the way to the third place finish were:

Doug Maloch - tournament champion at 112 lbs. 

Casey Drinkard - tournament runner-up at 125 lbs.

Addison Davis - third place at 103 lbs.

Phillip Edwards - third place at 145 lbs.

Thomas Sears - third place at 152 lbs.

Tiger wrestling will travel to Jefferson this Friday (Feb. 15,2008) to participate in the area tournament starting at 5:00 P.M.
