Tigers spring practice has ended and a lot was learned by coaches and players for the upcoming season. This years spring practice consisted of most of the time being used to find defensive linemen, offensive linemen, and tight ends according to Coach Savage this week. As we all know the quarterback position needs to be filled and three Tigers were looked at during practice. They are Phillip Edwards, Casey Drinkard, and Channing Anderson, which all bring something different to the team. Chase Bowen and Travaris Glasper were both looked at for the fullback position. Savage said, ” Both look good as well.” Next for the football team will be summer camp and then the season opener Jefferson on August 29,2008; 8 P.M. at Tiger Stadium.
